A Joseph Academy has its origin in the years of 1984. The school has rendered its service for 37 years and has stood an example and ideal for the educational institution around the school is run and manage by the congregation came to serve the railway wards through our educational institute.

The Forth eastern railway invited our sisters to come and work here and the support of the railway was with us for many consecutive years. Inspired by the Motto of our founder we delicate our self to educate at all level according to the needs of the time. St. joseph’s Academy Sonpur is a co-educational institution and caters primarily to the middle income and lower income employees.

As a catholic minority school , St. Joseph’s Academy Sonpur draws its Inspiration and guidance from the life and teaching of Jesus Christ who is a great Guru. The school premise is open to all religion , creed and community , who would be trained to lead their lives and to be the future leaders of the nation.
